Arriving at Dubai Airport

When you acquire the express visa, you are advised to print a hard copy before arriving in Dubai. You also need to discuss Covid-19 requirements with your airline and buy a travel insurance that includes Covid coverage. Travelling in Dubai was reopened from July 7, 2020 after it was restricted during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Insurance

It is mandatory to have a travel insurance that includes a Covid coverage when travelling to the UAE. The insurance covers all your emergencies while in Dubai such as an illness or an accident and also repatriation to your home country.

Consider an insurance that covers the activities you will engage in while in Dubai. you can talk to your insurer if you want a higher level of protection. In as much as some activities are covered by the insurance, some conditions may not be covered. For instance, cycling may be covered but you will not be covered if you were cycling without a helmet or riding over certain altitudes.

If engaging in extreme sports like quad biking in the sand dunes, you will need more coverage because of the increased risk. Compare the add-ons from different insurers and settle on one that suits your needs.

An insurance is not only necessary for medical emergencies, as it may come in hand in case your luggage is lost, damages or stolen or if your flight is delayed. The best time to purchase a travel insurance is when planning you Dubai trip.
