A participants height is a major deciding factor and the eligible body weight range is between 40 kilos and 130 kilos. Anyone with a weight above or below this range will not be eligible to use the zip line. This is because just like the weather, a participants bodyweight also plays a major role in the quality of their experience. The minimum height of a participant should be 122 cm. Participants who are below 18 years of age but meet all the eligibility criteria can ride the zip line alone. However, they need to bring along a waiver signed by a parent or legal guardian and must be accompanied by either one of the two to the facility. Additionally, the participant should have a good medical background and should not be under the influence of spirits, narcotics or anyother substance that impairs the participant's judgement skills.
Don’t miss the chance to take home your very own action-packed memories from Jebel Jais. Guests can rent a GoPro at the facility for AED 129 + VAT, making it easy to record your entire zipline experience without any hassle. If you already own a GoPro, you’re welcome to bring and use your own camera, as long as it meets safety requirements.
For safety reasons, personal belongings are not permitted during the adventure, as loose items can pose a risk while ziplining at high speeds. Small items such as mobile phones may be carried at your own risk and responsibility, but please be aware that phones cannot be used while on the zipline. Secure storage options are available at the site, allowing you to enjoy the experience with complete peace of mind.
Getting to Jebel Jais is easy and convenient. The Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority (RAKTDA) operates regular shuttle buses to the mountain for just AED 20 per way. These buses run from Ras Al Khaimah city centre and the Al Marjan Island / Al Hamra area, stopping at major hotels along the route. With three daily coach services, visitors have plenty of flexibility to plan their trip and enjoy a full day on the mountain.
For those who prefer added comfort or are travelling in a group, private and shared transfers can also be arranged at affordable rates from any of the seven Emirates. Pick-up services are available from Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Ras Al Khaimah, making Jebel Jais easily accessible whether you’re visiting for the day or planning a weekend escape.
Jebel Jais enjoys cooler and more pleasant weather compared to the rest of the UAE, making it a favourite winter getaway for locals. During the colder months, temperatures can drop significantly, sometimes reaching as low as -1°C in the early morning hours, and light snowfall has been known to occur on rare occasions.
Winter is the best time to enjoy outdoor adventures such as the Jebel Jais Zipline, thanks to comfortable daytime temperatures and clear mountain views. While summers can be warm, many visitors still choose this season as ticket prices are often reduced, with Jais Flight tickets frequently offered at nearly half price. Availability and pricing may vary each year, so it’s always recommended to confirm rates before booking.
