Self-driving across the highest dunes will not only give you a sense of achievement but also a rush of adrenaline to recharge you, all under the expert guidance of Arabiers liwa safari guides. Learn more about the Liwa desert by observing a breed of camels not found anywhere else in the UAE. Also witness a breathtaking desert sunset and choose to include lunch or dinner in Qasr Al Sarab to complete this exciting experience.
Go on a journey to the Empty Quarter for a memorable experience and the feeling of achievement traversing the world’s tallest sand dune while driving a 4x4. This exciting opportunity begins with a pick-up from any locations in UAE and a drive to the Liwa desert which is a part of the Empty Quarter. You will be taken to Tel Moreeb, the world’s tallest sand dune with a height of 300 meters and an incline of 50 degrees. Our expert desert safari guide will teach you the ropes of desert driving and give you a brief training and demonstration on how to drive over the dunes. Depending on your driving skills and how much you learned from the training session you will also get the chance to drive over the dunes for approximately 20 minutes under the watchful eye of the guide.
After that is done you will be taken to a Liwa camel farm where you can see black camels, a species of camels native only to the Liwa desert. Take a few photos with these desert inhabitants and move over to Liwa Oasis. Other places to visit in this tour are the Mezairaa fort commonly known as the Liwa fort and a vegetable farm. Finally, enjoy a beautiful sunset as you relax on top of the dune and watch the desert world fall asleep as the sun disappears below horizon taking with it every ray of light. Cancellation Policy
If Cancellation is made before 72 hours for full refund will be made. NO SHOW will be charge 100% of the actual amount paid.
For a full refund, cancel at least 48hours in advance from the date of the experience
Pick up Details
You will be picked up from any location anywhere from Abu Dhabi & approximately 1.30 pm – 2 pm you will be picked by 4x4. Anyone in other emirate required to come to any place in Abu Dhabi (Due to covid boarder rules changed, please refer local authorities)
You will be dropped after 9 or 10 Pm & timings are based on your preferences
