The Oman visa run is an affordable and helpful procedure for travellers who are eligible for 30 days on-arrival visa to UAE. This 30 days visa is issued at border immigration and allows the holder to stay in the UAE for 30 days. The list of countries that get a 30-day visa on exit and return back to UAE are:

The 90-day-on-arrival visa is a multiple entry visa with a validity period of 6 months for the 90 days stay duration. Holders of this visa type can stay a few days in UAE, visit Oman for a few days or even choose to self-drive to Oman. The countries whose nationals are eligible for this type of visa are:

If you hold an Indian passport and also have a valid USA visit visa, a green card or an EU/UK residence visa you are eligible for the 14 days on-arrival visa. Holders of this visa type do not need to apply for an Oman visa in advance to complete the Oman visa run as they are eligible to visit any part of Oman and return back within the stay duration of their UAE visa.
The 180 days UAE on arrival visa is only stamped for Mexican passport holders while entering UAE through any airport, seaport or land border. They also don’t need any advance permission to complete an Oman Visa run as they are eligible to do an Oman visa run without a visa as long as they return to UAE within a day.
Travellers originating from countries like Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Philippines, Nepal, India, Jordan, Egypt, Bosnia and other countries that aren't eligible for an on-arrival UAE visa but would like to visit the UAE must apply for a prepaid visa before flying to the UAE. To get approval for a UAE visit visa, it needs to be sponsored by someone based in the UAE, be it a hotel, travel firm like Arabiers or an airline. These visa holders can visit Oman’s Dibba in Musandam without any Oman Visa but require an Oman Visa to visit other cities of Oman and travel between UAE and Oman.
