Itinerary Explained

Here’s how Arabiers has organised the 7 days:

Meet at Urgench airport and transfer to Khiva. Tour Ichan Kala, including the Kunya Ark, Pahlavan Mahmud mausoleum, Kalta Minor, Tash-Khovli Palace, Muhammad Rahim Khan madrasah and Juma Mosque.

Khiva → Bukhara

Travel about 450 km across the red sands of the Kyzylkum desert, followed by free time in Bukhara’s old city.

See the Ismail Samani mausoleum, Chashma Ayub, Bolo Hauz, the Ark citadel, Poi Kalon, the Ulugbek and Abdulaziz Khan madrasahs, covered trading domes and Lyabi-Hauz.

Bukhara → Samarkand

Drive to Samarkand and visit Registan Square, Gur-e-Amir and the Konigil Meros silk-paper workshop, with an evening at Eternal City park.

Samarkand monuments

Explore Shah-i-Zinda, the Imam Al-Bukhari complex, Ulugbek’s observatory, Bibi-Khanym Mosque and Siab Bazaar.

Drive to Tashkent and explore the Hast Imam complex, Chorsu Bazaar and Tashkent City Park. After breakfast on Day 7, transfer to the airport. Extra nights can be added on request.

Visa: Uzbekistan is visa-free for 30 days for UAE passport holders and qualifying UAE residents, provided the residence visa is valid for at least 90 days on entry and the passport for at least 180 days.
