Where do yachts depart in Abu Dhabi?

Yachts depart from three main marinas: Abu Dhabi Marina on the Corniche, Yas Marina on Yas Island, and Emirates Palace Marina, with Al Bateen and Eastern Mangroves available on request.

Abu Dhabi Marina (Corniche)

The main city marina, with easy access to the Corniche and the Abu Dhabi skyline. Ideal for skyline cruising and private events. Parking is available near the marina and Marina Mall.

Yas Marina

On Yas Island, beside the Formula 1 circuit. Popular for race-weekend charters and for routes past Yas Bay, Ferrari World and Aldar HQ.

Emirates Palace Marina

Behind the iconic Emirates Palace, with views of the palace, Qasr Al Watan (the Presidential Palace) and the Abu Dhabi skyline.

What will you see from the water?

From an Abu Dhabi yacht you can see the Corniche skyline, Emirates Palace, Qasr Al Watan, Etihad Towers, Lulu Island, and from Yas Marina the F1 circuit, Ferrari World and Aldar HQ.

Routes are tailored to your marina and time of day. Sunset sailings along the Corniche are the most requested.

Best time to rent a yacht in Abu Dhabi

The best time is October to April, when the weather is mild; in summer, choose sunrise or sunset sailings to avoid the midday heat.

  • Weekdays are quieter and often better value than weekends.
  • Sunset slots sell out first, so book early.
  • Peak demand: UAE National Day, New Year’s Eve and the F1 Grand Prix week in early December.

How to book and what is included

Tell us your date, group size, marina and any extras, then pay a deposit or the full amount to confirm. Captain, crew, fuel and a sound system are included; catering, decoration and watersports can be added.

  • Book 20 to 30 days ahead in peak season for the best availability.
  • Bring a valid ID for each guest; the marina or coast guard may require a passenger manifest.
  • Add-ons: catering and BBQ, cake and decorations, photography, watersports.

Tips for renting a yacht in Abu Dhabi

  • Book early. Last-minute bookings cost more and availability is tight in winter.
  • Arrange catering and flowers in advance. Brief any caterer or florist on timing and your marina gate well ahead.
  • Plan parking. Marina parking fills in the evenings; arrive early and tell your guests where to park.
  • Avoid fake brokers. Check reviews and book with a licensed operator.
