What makes this different from the Dibba cruise
The Khasab full day dhow cruise goes inside Oman. You cross the Tibat border at roughly 08:30, which means a passport with at least 60 days remaining is required for every person on board, including children. The border crossing fee is AED 85 per passport. The payoff is access to Khor Sham proper, including Telegraph Island and the sections of the fjord that the Dibba cruise does not reach because it operates from the UAE side of the border.
If you do not have your passport available, the Dibba dhow cruise runs from Fujairah without any Oman border crossing and Emirates ID is sufficient for UAE residents. The Khor Sham route has more depth, literally and in terms of the fjord experience, but the Dibba route is the practical choice when passports are not to hand.

Practical information
Passports: Every guest, including children and infants, needs an original passport with at least 60 days remaining. Emirates ID is not accepted at the Tibat border. Send a clear copy to us at least 72 hours before travel.
Transfer timing: The sharing transfer from Dubai departs between 06:00 and 06:30. This is fixed around the border crossing schedule and the 10:00 dhow boarding. The return from Khasab departs at 16:00. Provide your hotel address when you enquire and we will confirm your pickup point within the window.
Children: Children aged 5 to 11 pay 60 per cent of the excursion cost. Under 5s travel free on excursions, though the Oman border fee of AED 85 still applies per passport. Life jackets are on board and are mandatory while the dhow is moving.
Cancellations: No charge if you cancel more than 5 days before departure. 50 per cent charge within 2 days. Full charge within 12 hours or no-show.
