Your own 4x4 and guide take you out in the afternoon for a 30 or 60 minute ride on a 250cc quad you drive yourself, in the golden light over the Al Khatim dunes. Then dune bashing, sandboarding, a camel farm stop and the sunset, before a BBQ buffet dinner and live shows at the desert camp.

Your own 4x4 and guide at golden hour, a longer ride on a 250cc quad you drive yourself, then the sunset over the dunes, a BBQ buffet dinner and live shows at the desert camp. The full evening in the Abu Dhabi desert, with the vehicle to yourselves.
Our quads are 250cc automatic ATVs, one rider each, so there are no gears to learn. After a safety briefing you drive the quad yourself on a marked route, with a guide riding alongside the whole time.
Best for couples, friends and families who want the whole desert evening in one trip: a proper ride on the quad, the sunset, dinner and the shows, without sharing the 4x4 with strangers.

How much is the private evening quad bike tour?
From AED 430 per person, for a 30 minute ride in a group of six. The price is for the whole group because the 4x4 is yours alone: two guests on a 30 minute ride pay AED 1,293 in total, which is AED 647 each. The tables on this page show every group size and ride length.
How long is the quad ride?
You choose 30 minutes or one hour on the quad. Everyone in the group rides for the same length.
What is included?
Your quad ride, a private 4x4 and guide for your group, hotel pickup and drop off in Abu Dhabi, dune bashing, sandboarding, a camel farm stop, the sunset on the dunes, a BBQ buffet dinner and live shows at the desert camp, a helmet, the safety briefing and refreshments.
What time does the evening tour start, and when am I back?
We collect you in the afternoon so that you ride in the golden light and reach the camp for the sunset, dinner and the shows, and we drive you back to your hotel afterwards. We confirm the exact pickup time with your booking, as it moves with the time of sunset.
Is dinner included?
Yes. A BBQ buffet dinner at the desert camp is included, with the live shows. Tell us about any dietary needs when you book.
Can I have a 10 minute ride on the evening tour?
No. The evening tour offers 30 or 60 minutes on the quad. For a 10 minute ride choose the shared sunset tour, or the private morning tour.
Who can ride the quad?
Adults, one rider per quad. Children are welcome on the tour and join the 4x4, the camp, dinner and the shows, but do not ride. It is not suitable for riders with a back, neck or heart condition, or during pregnancy.
Do I need a licence or any experience?
No. The quads are automatic, the guide gives a full briefing and rides alongside you, and most of our riders are first-timers.
Is a helmet provided?
Yes, for every rider, and it is worn for the whole ride. Wear closed shoes and long trousers.
When does the evening tour run?
From October to March, when the desert is cool in the evening. In summer we ride early in the morning only, so book the private morning tour instead.
How do I book, and do I pay in advance?
Send us your date, hotel, group size and ride length on WhatsApp. We hold the slot and confirm the pickup, and payment is settled on confirmation or on the day, with no upfront online payment needed to reserve.
Can I cancel or change my booking?
Yes. Cancellation is free up to 24 hours before the start time, and you can change the date on WhatsApp. We take bookings up to 4 hours before the start, and you pay on confirmation, with nothing to pay online.
