UAE Visa & Travel Content Specialist
Martin Muthugumi writes destination and travel content for Arabiers Holidays UAE. His job is to turn first-hand research into guides that are actually useful for someone planning a trip, not just a list of attractions, but a clear picture of what an experience involves, what it costs, how long it takes and what kind of traveller it suits.
His coverage spans Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Ras Al Khaimah and the wider UAE: desert safaris, dhow cruises, city tours, adventure activities and day trip options across all seven emirates. Before writing about an experience, Martin goes to the source, speaking with local guides and the Arabiers ground teams who run these products daily. That approach keeps what is published honest and specific, rather than generic.
Martin started writing travel content professionally in 2016, covering the Middle East and South Asia as an independent writer before joining Arabiers in October 2020. He holds two Dubai College of Tourism certifications, Travel Bookings and Documentation, and Travel Agencies: The Booking Lifecycle, which give him a grounding in how UAE travel and tourism products work at an industry level. He graduated from Mount Kenya University and is based remotely in Nairobi, Kenya.
