Arrive London Heathrow. Private transfer to Oxford (1 hour). Afternoon: guided walk through Oxford's historic colleges — Bodleian Library, Radcliffe Camera, Ashmolean Museum. Optional: punting on the Cherwell River. Overnight Oxford.

Morning: Blenheim Palace — the baroque palace where Winston Churchill was born, set in 2,000 acres of parkland. Drive into the Cotswolds: Burford (the gateway village), Bourton-on-the-Water (the Venice of the Cotswolds), and Bibury with its famous Arlington Row cottages. Overnight Cheltenham.
