Saudi eVisa Terms and Conditions, Explained

When you pay for a Saudi eVisa you accept the Ministry of Tourism's terms and conditions. Most of them matter in practice, especially the ones on refunds, permitted activities and the 90-day stay. This is a plain-English summary of each term; the full application guide for residents is the Saudi visa for UAE residents page and the country list is on the Saudi Arabia eVisa page.

The terms in plain English

Term What it means for you
Validity One year from the issue date. Unused validity is lost; the fee is not returned
Stay 90 days per entry. Overstay is fined at SAR 100 per day
Entries Multiple

Insurance Mandatory, bought in the portal, covers emergencies for the visit

The three terms people miss

  • Validity runs from issue, so applying months early wastes part of the year.
  • The insurance start date is the entry date you declared; if you travel earlier you may be uninsured.
  • "Tourism" does not include unpaid work for a Saudi company. That needs a MOFA visa.

Residents of the UAE: eligibility, cost in AED and the six application steps are in the UAE residents Saudi visa guide.
