The distance from the heart of Abu Dhabi to Qasr Al Watan is 10 kilometers, and visitors may easily reach their location by using public or private transportation.

From Dubai : The location is around 150 kilometers distant from the center of Dubai, and it is very simple to get to by car or cab through the E11 and the Al Shahama - Abu Dhabi Road/Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Street.

From Abu Dhabi : If you are coming by cab/private car, take the Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Highway and turn towards 1st Street. After that, take the 2nd exit, take a right, and keep going until you reach the meeting point. The destination is also accessible by the Line 034 bus from Abu Dhabi.

• To get into Qasr Al Watan, you must show a legal government ID with the same name as the one on the reservation.
• The Mail Hall nearby has places to eat and buy gifts.
• DSLRs and cell phones can take pictures for personal, non-commercial use.
• Men and women can pray in different places.
• Please turn off your phones before you go into the house.
• You can't enter the Palace in Motion (light show) 30 minutes before it starts.
• You can't bring your food or drinks into the place.
• Pets are not allowed in the building unless they are service animals with proper identification.
• Valet parking costs AED 80 at the Visitor Center Car Park. It's open every day of the week from 9:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.
• Bags and cases bigger than 500 x 350 mm will not be allowed inside the Palace.
• When using the Al Hosn app, only people living in Abu Dhabi or visiting from outside the country must show an RT PCR Report and a vaccine certificate.
• A lab with a base in the UAE with a valid RT-PCR test report within 72 hours is needed.
• If Palace in Motion, a light show, is going to happen on the day you are there, it is included in your ticket price.
• You can't go back into the place once you've left.
• When is the Palace in Motion show? It starts at 6:30 p.m. every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Timings may change based on the time of year.
• The Qasr Al Watan Palace stops letting people in at 5:30 p.m.
