Documents Requirement You Need for a Swift Dubai Travel Visa

When travelling to Dubai you need to apply for a visa to be allowed entry into the country.  to apply for this visa, there are documents that you must produce. The 30 days on arrival visa to Dubai is a single entry type of visa that is stamped at the holder’s passport free of charge.

Countries eligible for this visa are Andorra, Australia, Brunei, Canada, China, Hong Kong-China, Japan, Kazakhstan, Macau-China, Malaysia, Mauritius, Monaco, New Zealand, Republic of Ireland, San Marino, Singapore, Ukraine, United Kingdom and Northern Ireland, United States of America, and Vatican City.

The 90 days on arrival visa is a multiple entry type of visa and it is also free of charge. 

Countries eligible for this type of visa include Argentina, Austria, Bahamas Islands, Barbados, Belgium, Bulgaria, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, El-Salvador, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Honduras, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Kiribati, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Maldives, Malta, Montenegro, Nauru, Netherlands, Norway, Paraguay, Peru, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russian Federation, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, San Marino, Serbia, Seychelles, Slovakia, Slovenia, Solomon Islands, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, and Uruguay.

What Are the Documents Required?

Before you apply for any type of Dubai visa, you need to first meet the qualification criteria. The documents required vary depending on the purpose of your visit to Dubai. 

If you are applying the visit visa however there are a few requirements that you should meet. The requirements are the same whether applying for the regular visa or the express visa. 
Below are the documents you need to produce in order to apply for a Dubai travel visa:

•    A clear copy of your passport that is valid for at least 6 months 
•    2 colored photo of yourself that meet the Dubai photo requirements 
•    A return ticket to proof that you will go back from Dubai

What are the Visa photo Requirements?

•    The photo should be taken in a professional studio
•    It should not be older than 6 months so that it will show your current appearance
•    It should measure 43 mm by 55 mm or around 50mm by 50 mm
•    The scanned copy must be 300 pixels in width and 369 pixels in height 
•    The photo should have a plain white background  
•    Your face should take 70 to 80% of the picture
•    It should show your real skin tone 
•    The photo should not be edited even the tiniest details like removing birthmarks, imperfections, tattoos or red-eye. 
•    It should not be marked or signed in anywhere
•    Stare straight ahead and have a neutral facial expression when taking the photo

How to Apply for Visa?

Visa Rejection Reasons

Your express visa can be rejected for various reasons including:

•    If your passport has less validity, that is, if it is valid for less than six months from the date of visa application
•    If the scanned copy of the passport that you upload is not clear 
•    If the photograph submitted does not meet the required criteria
•    If the photos sent are blurred and not clear
•    Typing error in the application document

Also if you previously owned a resident visa to Dubai and left the country without cancelling the visa, your application for a new visa may be rejected. 

The express visa does not undergo much scrutiny because it is rushed application process, but still some basic rules will be followed. This means that the visa will be rejected if you do not meet the qualification criteria and submit the needed documents.
