Abu Dhabi Entry Visa – Simplest Way to Abu Dhabi

Depending on each national’s eligibility, tourists may obtain an entry visa to Abu Dhabi. They may obtain an entry visa either on a single entry or multiple entry basis.

Below, is a detailed description of the different Abu Dhabi entry visa types, as well as the freedoms and restrictions of each type, i.e. what each visa type allows and disallows a tourist.

First, the two types of entry visas that may be obtained :

Single Entry Visa

The Single Entry on an Abu Dhabi entry visa is issued for a 30 or 60-day period.

You may enter Abu Dhabi only once, and may stay in the UAE only for the issued number of days.

Multiple Entry Visa

The Multiple Entry Visa allows you to stay in Abu Dhabi for a 30 or 60-day period. With the Multiple Entry visa you may enter and exit Abu Dhabi multiple times during the issued length of stay on your visa. We urge our guests to be careful to not overstay as overstay fines will be charged you.

Abu Dhabi on arrival visa

Citizens from some of the selected countries can get this on arrival visa, after entering to Abu Dhabi.

• Can obtain 14, 30 and 90 days on arrivals
• Unable to open a local bank account
• Can open a digital bank account such as WIO
• Unable to work
• Unable to get local insurance, driving license, rent a flat or open a business

Abu Dhabi Standard Resident Visa

Anyone, experiencing the necessity of living in UAE, can get a standard resident visa.

• Can get 2 – 3 years of residency in Abu Dhabi
• Must be in Abu Dhabi every 180 days at least
• Cannot open a local bank account
• Can open a digital bank account such as WIO
• Unable to work
• Unable to get local insurance, driving license, rent a flat or open a business

Abu Dhabi Green visa

This is for freelancers, self employed and skilled individuals.

• Can sponsor for himself/herself for 5 years
• Can open a local bank account
• No sponsor required

Abu Dhabi Blue visa

Anyone who has done exceptional service, inside UAE or outside UAE, for environment’s protection, can get a blue visa.

• Given 10 years residency
• Can open premium bank account
• Can get a good insurance package for a reasonable rate
• Require permission from Abu Dhabi Ministry of Climate Change & Environment

Abu Dhabi Golden visa

Anyone with top talents and high professional value, wanting to reside in Abu Dhabi, can request for a golden visa.

• Residency for 5 – 10 years
• No need to stay in Abu Dhabi to keep the visa active
• Immediate family members also receive 10 years residency
• Can open premium bank account
• Can get a good insurance package at a reasonable rate
• Sponsor not required
• Can open a business, rent or buy a flat, land or office

Documentation

Below are the eligibility criteria for each category of visa. Immigration procedures for visa issuing at all UAE ports of entry are consistent across the 7 emirates.

On-Arrival Visa

If you are planning to travel to Abu Dhabi with an on arrival visa, you must ensure that your passport belongs to one of the select countries that the UAE recognizes for an on arrival visa. If you qualify for an on arrival visa, you will require only the following documents on you upon entry into Abu Dhabi :

• Your passport valid for a minimum of 6 months from your travel date
• A return air ticket

Indian passport holders, holding a valid US Green Card or a UK/EU residence visa, may obtain a prepaid, 14-day on-arrival visa into Abu Dhabi.

Prepaid Tourist Visa

To obtain your prepaid visa, you need to submit the following documents in order to obtain your Abu Dhabi entry visa :

• Copy of the bio page of your passport valid for minimum of 6 months from your travel date
• Color photograph of yourself taken against a white background
• Copies of all the previously stamped visas in your passport

Standard Residence Visa

Eligibility for the Standard Residence Visa depends largely on the company that recruited the applicant to work for them.

In order to be eligible for this visa, the applicant must fulfill two main requirements :

• Pass the Abu Dhabi visa medical test
• Not have a criminal record
