1)    Xline Dubai Marina

The Xline is located in Dubai Marina and is known to be one of the steepest and fastest ziplines in the world. The zipline with a length of 1 kilometre and a height of 170 meters is the worlds longest urban zipline and it moves at a speed of 180 kilometres per hour.

This zipline offers spectacular views of the city below you. You are allowed to lie belly-down as you fly along the zipline so that you can maximise on the thrill and also feel like ‘superman’.

There are two ziplines running concurrently, so you can go for the experience with your friend or loved one and share the fun. There are GoPro cameras mounted on the helmet you wear that records everything so you may relive and share your experience. 

2)    Aventura Parks Zipline

This zipline park in located at Mushrif Park in the Mirdif neighbourhood of Dubai. There are 24 ziplines in the park that are spread across different tiers, from ground to up above the trees. 

There are plenty of other activities you can do at the park but ziplining across the tiers remains to be one of the most thrilling activities there. The zipline is 160 meter long and runs from one part of the park to the other end. 

The ziplines are suitable for people with all levels of experiences including beginner zipliners. There are different adventure circuits with different difficulty levels to suit all skills of participants.

3)    Jebel Jais Zipline

Although it is not exactly in the emirate of Dubai, Jebel Jais is a popular destination among visitors in Dubai.  The longest zipline in the world, Jebel Jais is located in the Jebel Jais Mountain in Ras Al Khaimah. 

You can drive for around 2 hours from Dubai to Ras Al Khaimah and go experience the most thrilling flight in the world. You will fly at a height of up to 1680 above the Arabian gulf at a speed of 160 kilometres per hour. 

This exciting and heart pounding Jais Flight will leave you with memories that will last long after the trip is over. You may book for a tour with Arabiers which includes transfers from Dubai and get to experience riding the Jebel Jais zipline. 

Age Requirements

The age requirement for ziplining in Dubai is 12 to 65. Children under the age of 12 are not allowed to go for a ziplining experience as it may pose a danger to them. Children may not understand the rules for ziplining so to avoid any accidents or mishaps they are not allowed to get on the zipline. 

Kids aged 12 to 16 however need parental consent to be allowed on a zipline. They should also be accompanied by a guardian or parent during the experience.

Weight and Height Requirements

People allowed on a zipline should be between 45 kgs and 100 kgs. For Height, the participants must be taller than 130 cm. 

Health Requirements

You need to be healthy for you to go on a ziplining adventure. You should not have any physical or mental disorder that will prevent you from doing any of the physical and mental tasks you are asked to do during the ride.

If you are suffering from any medical condition that may need immediate medical attention, you also need to keep away from ziplining. You should always put your health first when it comes to adventure activities as small triggers may worse your condition. 

Documentation Requirements

When entering the zipline, you must first produce your identification details such as your original Emirates ID, a valid driving licence or a valid passport. These are important to ascertain your identification. The details provided should mac the details on the debit/credit card you used to buy tickets for ziplining and the person who wants to ride the zipline. 

Ziplining Gear

There is no specific dress code for ziplining but you are required to dress in modest and comfy clothing that will allow you to zipline comfortably. Do not wear skirts and dresses when going for the experience. 

Also, put on closed flat shoes and avoid flip flops, high heeled shoes and sandals as they may get off while you are up on the air.  You need to have a helmet on while ziplining. Ziplining providers usually provide you with a helmet when you are getting ready to start the experience. 

The tickets at Xline Dubai Marina cost AED 699 for every person. You will therefore pay AED 699 to get on the zipline and enjoy the beautiful views from above. Visitors under the age of 16 who want to go ziplining need to pay AED 499 to get a ticket for Xline Dubai Marina.

The tickets for ziplining are for the specified person and time mentioned on the ticket. It cannot be reused for multiple bookings neither can it be resold. If you do not pick your ticket from the seller, they will cancel it and you will not be given a refund.

If you are going for a ziplining experience at Aventura Parks in Mushrif Park, you first have to pay an entry fees of AED 3 per person or AED 10 per car. You will also pay from AED 75 per hour for ziplining at the park. 

The rates for Jebel Jais vary depending on the day and time you visit. Generally, the prices per person start from AED 200. You will incur more cost for transfers and transport from Dubai to Ras Al Khaimah.

•    Book tickets Early – Book tickets to your ziplining experience well in advance to avoid missing a spot on your preferred time. Although walking bookings are allowed, it is better to secure a ticket early enough to avoid the long queues usually at the entry points. 

•    Read and listen to the guidelines carefully – Before starting the experience, take the initiative to read about ziplining to get a glimpse of what it is all about and what are the dos and don’ts of the sport. There are also experienced instructors who will take you through the safety guidelines before you start the experience. Please listen carefully to them and note down all the important information about your safety while ziplining. 

•    Arrive early at the zipline - Arrive at least 30 minutes to your scheduled time to the zipline departure point. This will give you enough time for the briefings and also go through the check-in points without a hurry. You will also be relaxed and get started with the experience on the exact time you are scheduled for.
